COMMON QUESTIONS

Do I need to be in shape before I start?

1

No. There is no fitness level you need to reach before you're allowed to begin. Your first session is an assessment, and the program is written from where you actually are.

Clients arrive as complete beginners, as people returning after years away, and as experienced lifters chasing a specific goal. All three start the same way.

What if I've never lifted weights before?

2

That's a normal starting point, and it's one of the better ones — there are no habits to undo. Early sessions focus heavily on learning movement patterns properly, at loads that let you build the technique first.

How many days a week will I need to train?

3

That depends on your goal and your schedule, and we'll decide it together during your consultation. A program you can actually complete twice a week will always beat one you abandon after trying to hit four.

Do you work with injuries or physical limitations?

4

Yes. Limitations are accounted for in your assessment and programmed around. If you're under the care of a doctor or physical therapist, we'll work within whatever guidance they've given you rather than around it.
